We all had a good laugh when we heard Jessica Simpson was crossing-over to the dark side, but sending Jess to Nashville may have been the smartest thing Papa Joe has ever done. In May “Come On Over” was the highest charting country debut solo single to hit the Billboard Country Singles Chart. It looks like the pop-country world likes her more than the rest of us did.
