Shane Sparkes posted bail Saturday night and now that he’s a (temporarily) free man, his attorney says he is ready to fight this “extortion, Hollywood style”.

Sparks, a judge on the show America’s Best Dance Crew,  and a choreography on So You Think You Can Dance was arrested on Friday and charged with eight counts of child molestation. But his attorney, Steve Meister, tells TMZ the whole thing “stinks to high heaven” since Sparks’ accuser waited 15 years (until Sparks became famous) before she came forward.

Meister says the charges “are completely without merit” and that Sparks “knows he is innocent and will fight to clear his name.”

Oh lord. Please be innocent. I cannot have this kind of corruption on one of my favorite shows. It’s probably either not true or grossly exaggerated….either way by this time tomorrow fundamental groups will be calling for his immediate departure from anything to do with a teenage dance show.
