Actor Ryan O’Neal was arrested at 12:30am on February 3rd according to the LA Sheriff’s Department. This scene was so ugly that the police AND the fire department were dispatched to the actors Hollywood Hills home. O’Neal is charged with allegedly committing battery on his 42 year old son Griffin as well as with the negligent discharge of a firearm. Translation: somebody got drunk, beat up his (grown) kid and was playing with his guns.

I guess it’s safe to say that Ryan won’t be winning any father of the year awards. Not only has he now pulled a gun on his only son, but in her biography A Paper Life, his daughter Tatum alleges that she was molested by a male friend of her fathers and also suffered physical and emotional abuse from father that she attributes to serious drug use. She also goes on to talk about being dragged to a opium orgy by Melanie Griffith when she was 12 years old, but I digress.
