British newspapers are reporting that the middle son of Victoria and David Beckham, Romeo, is epileptic. The media was alerted last week when Victoria was pushing Romeo through Heathrow airport and she freaked out about all the flashbulbs going off in his face. Contact Music reports that Victoria screamed the photographers, “Leave him alone. He’s got epilepsy. All that flashing will start an epileptic fit. You can’t do that.� Friends say that of f course the Beckham’s are devastated and hopes the medication can control the epilepsy and that Romeo will have a normal life.

I wouldn’t describe epilepsy as a ‘devastating’ illness. It’s not ideal and no one would wish that on a child, but it could be worse folks, your child is still alive and well and not battling cancer or fighting to his death in Iraq.
