Warning: Only hardcore Rob Pattinson fans and Twi-hards will give a hoot about this story.

Apparently, the shy and socially awkward Rob refuses to indulge in the micro-social network world and has proudly never Tweeted..ever.

Until now.

Rob finally broke his Twitter cherry on his on-screen daddy’s account.

It was on the account of Peter Facinelli -who plays Rob’s vampire father Dr. Carlisle Cullen.

Rob writes, “Hi, it’s Rob… My first and last tweet. My dad made me do it.”

Shortly after Rob’s posting, Peter tweeted, “At least you know he doesn’t have a Twiiter account. Lol. Down with the posers.”
