Rob Pattinson Covers French Premiere MagazinePosted On: September 1, 2009 Comments Off
Rob Pattinson is still playing the “I’m really not that cool card” in every interview he does. He tells French Premiere magazine that he first realized that he was a may-jor big deal in Cannes. “I was in a restaurant during a break, and when I came out two hours later, 500 people were waiting for me at the exit. It was total chaos. I’m sure that if I told one of those girls ‘come, let’s go have breakfast,’ she would have been totally embarrassed and would never scream my name again.” He also talks about nearly losing it last year after skyrocketing to instant superstar status with the release of Twilight. Says Rob: “I was getting really paranoid. If tomorrow I say ‘OK, I’ve had enough we’re stopping everything’ it won’t change anything. Might as well try to accept it and stay Zen as I have no control over it. It’s not always easy. But whining won’t change anything.” I won’t get on my soapbox and tell ya’ll how I hate whiny celebrities…as I”m sure you all do too. But I will say it’s refreshing to hear someone so draw-droppingly gorgeous be so down to earth about dealing with it. Right on dude!
