Author Casillo, who has written acclaimed books on Marilyn Monroe, remarks of today’s cult of “personality”: “There is an even playing field. There’s no difference between Angelina Jolie and Paris Hilton.They get the same coverage on a red carpet or a tabloid cover. There is no reward for accomplishment anymore. Even a pedophile gets a Vera Wang gown and three weeks of wedding coverage!”
I bet Angelina, humanitarian and Good Will Ambassador, loves being compared to the skankness that is Paris Hilton. Brilliant!
