This is one speeding ticket that Larry Birkhead might be glad he was issued. Sources say Birkhead received this ticket on his way to console a very upset pregnant Anna Nicole Smith.

Birkhead’s story goes like this. Back on April 12, 2006, Anna had just gotten in a fight with that shady Howard K. Stern who was so jealous over the fact that Birkhead was the father of the baby that he gave Anna an ultimatum…him or me. Anna was so shaken she called Birkhead and asked him to meet her in a parking lot. Birkhead claims he immediately jumped in his car to go to Anna but was stopped by a Burbank police officer.

The officer notated on the ticket that Birkhead’s excuse for speeding was that, “I got a call from my pregnant wife, she’s sick.” Birkhead’s attorney’s say this is significant because it was a spontaneous reaction and not in context of a paternity battle. Makes sense to me!

Add this to the fact that Howard K. Stern has yet to volunteer to take a DNA test to prove that he is the father, and I think we may have a winner.
