Paris Hilton has set her little heiress mind on playing the role of Lucy Ewing in the upcoming film version of the 1980s tv show Dallas. Despite reports that the role has already been locked up by newcomer Katie Cassidy, Paris has been lobbying hard for the role of the young troublemaking Ewing.

“Paris is pretty eager to get into the film. She’s having her manager and even friends pull favors just to get her an audition. In her mind she’s already part of American royalty by being a Hilton. So she thinks it will be perfect casting. She’s actually surprised the producers haven’t thought of this themselves!”

And now we all cringe imagining Paris Hilton trying to manage a Texas twang.
