Paris Hilton has starred (read: been forced to appear) in a public service announcement against drunk-driving in Seventeen magazine. Paris was arrested for drunk driving last month but claimed that she was not drunk, that she was just hungry and was driving fast to get a hamburger.
I don’t know how much of a ‘public service’ this weak ad will be to the readers of Seventeen magazine. There is no heart felt apology, no “I messed up and I’m sorry” no “what I did was stupid” that might actually get through to a hard headed teenager.
All we get is this: “All it takes is one drink to mess with the way you drive - it clouds your judgment and slows your reflexes. Don’t take any chances. It just isn’t worth it.” That should stop the kids from getting behind the wheel, don’t you think?
