Sometimes her intricate braids intimidate and annoy me, but I love Nicole Richie. Even more so since I’ve been DVR-ing Fashion Star. I’ve heard some critics say it’s clever editing, but both Nicole and Jessica Simpson come across as market-savvy business women on the show and I dig that.

I also dig this orange, linen pant-suit Nicole is rockin’ on a day at the beach with her curly headed kids and husband. And if you don’t have kids…this is exactly what it looks like when you take your kids to the beach. You carry them and all their Spongebob sh–!!!
