Remember a few weeks ago when Nicole Richie was rushed to the hospital from the set of “The Simple Life” and treated for dehydration? Many people assumed that Nicole was back on herion or possibly back in the throes of her eating disorder, but a friend has revealed that neither is the case.

A source close to Nicole told InTouch weekly that Nicole takes the heavy prescription drug Adderall which is normally used to treat Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder.

“She loves Adderall because she stays awake, and it makes her not want to eat,” says a close pal. “And she takes it even more when she’s filming.”
Well that just makes perfect sense doesn’t it kids?
