Nicole Richie and Joel Madden finally confirmed that they are expecting a child together in their interview with Diane Sawyer. The interview will air on Good Morning America Thursday and on 20/20 Friday.

In experts from the interview released by ABC Nicole told Diane that she is four months pregnant and that her boyfriend Joel Madden is the father. Nicole also opens up about her DUI and dishes on why all the young hot kids in Hollywood keep finding themselves in so much trouble. She also owned up to her DUI f**up to Diane.

“I have a responsibility and it’s something that I did wrong, and if I could personally apologize to every single person that has lost a loved one from drunk driving I would. And unfortunately I can’t, but this is my way of paying my dues and taking responsibility and being an adult.”

Last Friday Nicole was sentenced to four days in jail, got three years probation, must enroll in an alcohol education program and pay a fine of $2,048.
