Parents to be Nicole Richie and Joel Madden recently made an offer on a house in a gated Southern California community only to be shot down by their potential neighbors. The residents denied the couple entry into their swanky hood because they were concerned about photographers swarming around and making their lives miserable.

Nicole was pissed when she heard the news, but you can’t blame those smart SoCal residents. The paparazzi frenzy around Nicole and Joel is already insane, image how it will be when the littlest Madden gets here.
