Unlikely best friends Gwyneth Paltrow and Courtney Love were spotted having dinner at Wolfgang Puck’s hot restauraunt Cut this week. Gwyneth and husband Chris Martin a cozy dinner with the newly slimmed down Courtney. Surprisingly enough Gwyneth and Courtney go way back and are just starting to rekindle their old friendship that was broken off when Gwyn moved to London. Us Weekly says the unlikely pair have been hanging out and “bonding over yoga” which Courtney says she jumped back into whole heartedly as part of her new health regime that resulted in a 50 pound weight loss.

 “Gwen’s happpy to see Courtney healthy and happy again and wants to be there for her and help her acting comeback,” says a source, adding that Paltrow refers to Love’s recent era of substance abuse as a time when the rocker was “out sick.”

Just an interesting side note, Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes were also dining at Cut that night and Tiny Tom told Courtney that she looked like a “movie star”. Tom’s next Scientology target?
