Melanie Brown has finally given her new baby a name, Angel Iris Murphy Brown. Being British she probably didn’t realize that Murphy Brown was 90′s sit-com famous for Candice Bergin’s tough single mom character. You can bet your sweet bippy that Murphy Brown wouldn’t have given her baby the name of the man that denied being her daddy. Mel B added the “Murphy” in to her new daughters name because she still insists that Eddie Murphy is the father.

“Angel, as she was my little angel through my pregnancy,” she said. “Iris, as it’s my grandma’s name, Murphy because he’s the dad and Brown because I’m the mum!”

Sounds like Mel B is pretty certain that Eddie M is the daddy. Let’s hope so, what a pain to have to file for a legal name change before you are six months old.
