I read about the terrible car accident that The Big Bang Theory’s Mayim Bialik was in just before I went to bed last night and believe it or not I was really worried about her losing a finger. I mean really, what a random, strange thing to happen…and to lose a finger??? Blossom has two small kids and you have no idea how you need all your phalanges when you have toddlers.
The former Blossom star and The Big Bang Theory actress, 36, was rushed to hospital after being involved in a smash with another vehicle carrying Chilean tourists. At first it was feared she could lose a finger on her left hand, which was crushed in the accident.
But her husband later tweeted on her behalf: ‘In pain but will keep all my fingers.’ And he even took the opportunity to promote her latest TV appearance: ‘If u wanna see pre accident me watch The Soup tonight lol.’
The incident happened at an intersection on the corner of Hollywood Boulevard and La Brea at around midday. The mother of two, who was travelling alone, suffered major damage to her left hand – and was thought to be in danger of losing a finger. A witness at the scene told TMZ that there was ‘tons and tons of blood everywhere’ and that Bialik’s ‘finger was almost completely severed … it was just hanging there’
