In the first bit of news we’ve gotten about Breaking Dawn since we learned it will definitely be split into two movies….it was confirmed today that Maggie Grace has been cast as the ill-fated Denali vampire Irina.

I won’t say any more in case some of you still haven’t finished that last book and don’t want to be spoiled..but I think Maggie was a perfect was perfect choice to play the pivotal character.

I know it’s not much info to keep us going. It’s still a long minute until we get to see Bella and Edward’s story play out. The first part won’t be  released until November 18th, 2011, followed by the finale a year later on November 16th, 2012.
