Louis Vuitton Suing Britney Spears For Using Counterfeit LogoPosted On: November 20, 2007 Leave a Comment
The powers that be at Louis Vuitton are sick and tired of all the cheap knock-offs of their luxury products and they are taking it out on Britney Spears. The luxe French company have won an court injunction in Paris to keep Britney’s 2005 “Do Something” video from airing on European television stations. In the video Britney is seen driving a Hummer with a counterfeit Vuitton cherry blossom logo on the dashboard. The civil court ruling also ordered the video’s producer to pay $117,600 for damages to Vuitton’s image, and $1,470 per day until the video is removed from the Internet.
