Lindsay Lohan made it another year! The fact that L.A.’s hardest parting girl managed to survive another 12 months makes me think there might be a bit of hope for Amy Winehouse. Just a bit.

But let’s move to Lindsay’s birthday celebration. The prom themed party (yes a bit lame for the in-crowd if you ask me) was held at Teddy’s Wednesday night with over 100 guests including Joel and Benji Madden and her BFF/lover Samantha Ronson. There were tacky prom-like balloons everywhere and cupcakes and a tiara…you know the normal sophisticated L.A. stuff. (roll your eyes here)

The morning after the big blowout Lindsay admitted to Ryan Seacrest on his morning show that she has someone special and that she plans to stay with that someone. I say if you’re going to go that far, why not just give Sam a big old ‘I love you baby’ shout-out.

“I just want to live a happy, healthy year and continue on the path I’ve been on and be with the person I care about and my family,” she said on Ryan Seacrest’s KIIS-FM show Thursday, declining to mention Samantha Ronson’s name.
