Liam Neeson is keeping busy working after the tragic death of his wife Natasha Richardson in March. He’s already signed on to play Zeus in the upcoming Clash of the Titans and now he is vying for the role of Hannibal in the remake of the 80’s classic The A Team.
Liam Neeson is in talks to star as Colonel John ‘Hannibal’ Smith in the long-awaited movie version of the A-Team. It will be a huge big screen return for the star, who’s still grieving the death of actress wife Natasha Richardson in a freak skiing accident in March. The movie, based on the massively-popular 1980s TV series, is being produced by Ridley Scott and is slated for release in summer next year.
No word on who will play the mohawked BA Barracus but MTV movies reports that hottie Bradley Cooper has signed on to play o play Lt. Templeton “Faceman” Peck.
Don’t expect the same campy A Team we are used to…Ridley Scott will surely turn it into a slick action flick like Mission Impossible.
