Kim Kardashian Being Sued By Cookie Diet CompanyPosted On: January 1, 2010 Comments Off
Motivation to get you in the gym and stick to your New Years resolution. Kim Kardashian is becoming a mastermind at using twitter for self-promotion, but sometimes it gets her in trouble. Dr. Siegal’s Cookie Diet filed a defamation lawsuit against the reality starlet in Miami on Tuesday for unspecified damages after Kardashian reportedly Tweeted on October 29 that the popular Hollywood diet was “unhealthy.” According to the lawsuit filed by the Cookie Diet, Kardashian wrote: “Dr. Siegal’s cookie diet is falsely promoting that I’m on this diet. NOT TRUE! I would never do this unhealthy diet! I do QuickTrim! If this Dr. Siegal is lying about me being on this diet, what else are they lying about?” Of course the cookie people got pissed..even though apparently they were the ones who started the big mess by making false claims. They say that Kim’s statement on twitter is going to cost their company “tens of millions of dollars“. Really? Tens of millions? Because Kim Kardashian said it was unsafe? I think they may have overestimated KK’s pull with the American dieter.
