Some might call this Katy Perry’s walk of shame. Just a few hours after they were seen leaving the Chateau Marmont, the paps snapped John Mayer dropping Katy off at her L.A. apartment in his (natch) Ferrari. Of course he drives a Ferrari.

I’m interested to see what happens with this two at the 2012 MTV VMA’s coming up. Katy just told Elle magazine that: ‘I’m a woman who likes to be courted, strongly. Never say never, I guess you’d say. I’ll let love take the lead on that.”

And she does loves to be courted strongly. That’s how Russell Brand won her heart…pretty much telling  the world he was into her when he hosted the 2009 MTV VMA’s….’member that?

Look for lots of close up shots of Katy and John on the front row this year…if John is smart and really wants to win Katy’s heart he’ll do something like write her name on his arm while on stage or maybe give her a sweet cheek kiss on camera. Make no mistake…this time it’s the girl that’s got the playa all worked up.
