I’m not sure if there is a 12 step program for a Barney’s addiction, if not one of those Scientology folks needs to stage an intervention for Katie Holmes. Or is the excessive shopping a diversion the Church approves of to keep Katie from really thinking about her uber-controlled life? Us Weekly reports that Katie’s credit card shows $200,000 worth of purchases at the Beverly Hills Barney New York store alone. Yes, just in ONE store. Last January she spent an undisclosed amount on shoes, in April she spent $400 on two pairs of jeans and in November left the store with five bags of baby clothes for Suri.
