That nasty little Andy Dick finally got his comeuppance at the Laugh Factory in LA over the weekend. After making yet another disparaging remark about the murder of Phil Hartman to his good friend Jon Lovitz, Lovitz lost it and beat the hell out of Andy.

“Jon picked Andy up by the head and smashed him into the bar four or five times, and blood started pouring out of his nose.” Lovitz told Page Six, “All the comedians are glad I did it because this guy is a [bleep]hole.”

Lovitz has been pissed at Dick since a 1997 Christmas party at Hartman’s house, just five months before his troubled wife Brynn flipped out and shot Hartman and killed herself. Dick apparently gave the newly sober Brynn some cocaine and Lovitz believe that set her off again on a final downward spiral that ended in the murder of his friend.
