Jackass ringleader Johnny Knoxville and his wife of eleven years Melanie Cates have split. Johnny’s rep confirmed the news to Us Magazine and In Touch today. The rocky marriage has been plagued by split rumors for years due to Johnny’s roaming eye; think Jessica Simpson and Kate Moss.

Johnny’s rep confirms that he has moved out of the home he shared with his wife and 10 year old daughter, Madison and is now living with a waitress he met at the Mercer Hotel in NY. Though Johnny has not gone public with his new relationship, an insider tells the magazine, “They’ve been living together since the fall and are staying near his wife’s home. They’re really in love. Johnny only has eyes for her.”

I’m sure Johnny’s wife loves the fact that he is shacked up with a waitress near their family home. Men are indeed, Jackasses.
