The release date for the animated movie Rango isn’t until March 2011, but for whatever reason they’ve already released a trailer. It’s a family flick..but who can resist Johnny Depp playing a lizard?

As I was researching this movie I learned that my man John has no less that 14 projects in development right now. FOURTEEN! Everyone wants a piece of the Deppster. A few of note are big screen versions of the television classics The Lone Ranger, Happy Days and Dark Shadows. I’d guess that he’d play Tonto in The Lone Ranger.….The Fonz in Happy Days and Barnabus in Dark Shadows.

Oh my…how cool would JD be as The Fonz. Dreamy …even.
