Joe Simpson Wanted To Manage Tony Romo’s $65 Million NFL Career

If you needed more reason to think that Joe Simpson is losing his ever-lovin’-Texan mind, here ya go. Us Weekly is reporting that part of the reason behind the Jessica Simpson / Tony Romo split a few weeks ago is because Papa Joe was putting pressure on Tony to drop his fancy NFL agent and let him handle his career. As if! Look what a bang-up job he’s done with his daughters.
A source tells Us Joe asked Romo, 28, to drop his agent so he could take over his NFL career and $67.5 million contract.He even offered to broker a deal to sell his engagement and wedding to a magazine should Romo and Jessica, 27, get engaged. “‘If you guys have a marriage, I can do the same [sell it] that I did with Ashlee,’” a source quotes Joe as saying. As tension grew, the Dallas Cowboys quarterback gave Jessica an ultimatum: Tell dad to back off!
We seriously don’t know how Jessica and Ashlee Simpson can handle the embarrassment that is thier father.
