Jay Bakker has a different approach to spreading the good word.
After his parents evangelistic empire crumbled and his father went to prison, he spent his teens in the darkness, rebelling and bent on self-destruction from alcohol and drugs. Now that he is grown up and cleaned up and pierced up, he spreads God message to the people who are burnt out on organized religon. Holding services in bars is just one of the reasons that some groups say his ministry is ‘not Christian enough.’ Check out his new reality show titled ‘One Punk Under God’ that shows the struggle Jay goes through personally and with his congregation.
