Jessica Simpson had lunch with actress Victoria Principal late last week. Reports have been floating around that Jessica is interested in playing Victoria’s old role as Pamela Ewing in the upcoming movie version of “Dallas”.

I actually see Jessica as more of the young, stupid, large chested ‘Lucy’ Ewing. I’m not sure is Jess has the acting chops to play ‘Pam’, that role is much more in depth. Although Jessica does have the weird father relationship with Papa Joe that Pam had with her tv dad, Cliff Barnes. Could be a perfect match.

Also slated to star in the movie is John Travolta as the infamous JR Ewing and Jennifer Lopez as JR’s long suffering, ex-beauty queen wife, Sue Ellen. One of the most interesting casting rumors is that Brad Pitt may play the black sheep, half Ewing, Ray Krebbs. Brad got his tv start playing “Randy” on the show in 1988.
