The press machine surrounding Jessica Simpson wants us all to believe that she is purposely losing weight very slow just to prove a point.
Her point being: Slow and steady wins the race. Which is really Weight Watchers motto and they are the ones paying her $3 million to shed the baby weight and do a big reveal for them. They just didn’t know they were going to have to wait so long.
And of course, no one can disagree that is what every new mom should remember, but that is so not what’s happening. There is no celebrity in the world, or woman in the world for that matter, who does not want the baby weight off YESTERDAY.
“Jessica is losing weight slowly,” a friend close to Maxwell Drew Johnson’s mom told RadarOnline.com.
“She’s not trying to drop 10 pounds a week or anything crazy like that. She wants to do it at her own pace and make sure she’s healthy.”
Jessica hits the gym frequently with celebrity trainer Harley Paternak, and she’s a dedicated student, according to the source.
“Her goal right now is to lose one pound a week and Harley’s training program is keeping her on that schedule,” the friend said.
Jessica Simpson is one of us girls. She gains weight easy, it’s even harder for her to lose it. So let’s not give her crap. But let’s remember that she is wishing she had Jessica Alba metabolism right now and not wanky Simpson DNA.
