Funny girl Jenny McCarthy turned her pregnancy and the first year of her son’s life into side splittingly funny books that other young mom’s eat up like ice cream when they are pregnant. But sadly Jenny’s next book is going to be about her experience after her four year old son was diagnosed with autism. Louder than Words: A Mother’s Journey in Healing Autism is schedule to be released this September.

Jenny says it’s a heartbreaking story about a serious health issue and it’s sure to become a tear-jerky Oprah book. Along with writing this book, Jenny has found and clung to this new age theory of old-soul special children being born into the world post 1980 that are here to help guide us to a better place. The theory goes these children are hyper sensitive and have super abilities and are called ‘Crystal Children.” Jenny believes her son Evan is a Crystal Child with angelic abilities that make him vulnerable and powerful. She says that Evan is hyper sensitive to water and air. Regardless of what she has latched onto to get her through this she is taking steps to make things better for these children so she can’t be faulted for that. She’s now made it her life’s work to change the entire educational system to make it better for kids like Evan.
