Jennifer Hudson is making history as the first African-American singer to grace the cover of US Vogue. I cannot believe how remiss the fashion forward – snotty pants Vogue editors have been in showcasing the amazingly talented and beautiful African-American women in this country. Can you believe that Jennifer is only the THIRD African-American woman to ever be on the cover of Vogue, following in the footsteps of Oprah Winfrey and Halle Berry.
Hudson’s cover photo was shot by the amazing Annie Leibovitz at Harlem’s Apollo Theater in NY and will be published in the March 2007 annual Power Issue.
Hey Anna Wintour…get your head out of those skinny white models asses and join in this century.
