Jamie Foxx has given up his ridiculously large diamond earrings to protest the use of conflict gems mined in warzones and sold to fund conflicts or profit evil warlords.

Jamie’s giant earring bling …sort of a trademark if you will…will now be CZ baby.

Foxx reveals, “I now wear cubic zirconia. I used to wear real diamonds, but there’s too much issue about blood diamonds.”

Kudos Jamie…I had no idea that the blood diamond thing was still going on..but after doing some casual googling about conflict gems…it appears there is still some evil rock diggin’ going on…so diamond buyers beware.
