Surprisingly, Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz had a very normal baby shower. The co-ed party had a very un-goth Winnie the Pooh theme and featured a bumble bee-shaped cake and peanut butter and jelly sandwhiches.

“The room was decorated with yellow and orange roses, and guests were given jars of honey with custom-made labels that said ‘Baby Wentz’ and ‘Thank You For Celebrating My Life’ on them,” says a party guest. “The girls were also given bracelets that had a big bumble bee on them.”

After seeing the artwork the couple purchased for Baby Wentz’s nursery, a Winnie the Pooh theme seems sort of vanilla. Where’s the emo?
