22 year old Ashley Tisdale has confirmed to People magazine that she had a rhinoplasty procedure last Friday in Los Angeles. The High School Musical star says she did it for health reasons not because she is vain or anything.

“Growing up I always knew I had a deviated septum on the right side of my nose, which caused trouble breathing. The older I got, the worse it got. I went to get it checked out, and the doctor told me the septum was 80 percent deviated and that I had two small fractures on my nose. I’m not feeling great today. It’s uncomfortable and I hope this is the only time I ever have to go through something like this.”

It’s not fair that a nose job has such a convenient excuse. We’ve been racking our brains trying to figure out how we can convince a doctor that tummy and thigh liposuction would help us breathe better, but so far…nothing.
