Madonna’s BFF Gwyneth Paltrow spent the last three months trying to talk her friend into not letting her ego destroy her marriage to Guy Ritchie. Gwyn thinks it’s going to be devastating for the couples three children when they divorce. It’s very sweet that Gwyneth stepped in to try to stop her crazy friend from throwing away eight years of marriage.

A source told MailOnline: ‘Gwyneth begged Madonna all summer not to be an idiot and let this marriage fall apart. But Madonna can be very hard-headed and treats Gwyneth like a younger sister. If Madonna goes through with a divorce it’s going to break Gwyneth’s heart and affect their friendship permanently.’

It seems like Madge just has A-Rod on the brain and nothing else matters.
