We don’t normally report about the hijinks of the in-crowd of the country music scene, but this one was too good to pass up. Gretchen Wilson is now officially earned herself the nickname ‘Bitch on a Plane.’ Gretchen and her crew were behaving so badly on a flight to L.A. last week that American Airlines had to issue an in-flight citation and write up a disturbance report.

Gretchen and crew were traveling in coach (there was the first mistake) from Nashville to L.A. when they became “belligerent and verbally abusive” to staff when they asked her to put her dog back in its carrier. Other passengers report that when a flight attendant tried to discuss the situation with her, Gretchen hauled off a big ole’ country “F**k you!” Nice.  At that point the entire redneck crew were quickly cut off from liquor service.

We guess that country stars can, and in fact do, party like rock stars!
