Jessica Simpson thinks she is a bigger star than she is. To be fair, we think this misinformation comes from her manager/father, Joe Simpson. Jessica recently announced on the Jimmy Kimmel show that Luke Wilson would be co-starring with her in her new movie Blonde Ambition - a remake of Working Girl. Star Magazine reports that this was news to Luke. Luke’s camp say they no nothing about this project and are not in talks with Jessica’s camp. Insiders say this pair up will never happen as Jessica is no where near Luke Wilson status.
But a Simpson source tells Star, that Jessica truly believes Blonde Ambition will happen, and with a star-studded cast, despite the fact that it’s far from reality. “Joe [Simpson] is telling Jessica he’s getting big stars,” says the source. “Joe’s been working on it for months. It’ll end up having a bunch of nobodies if it happens. He was trying to get Meg Ryan to be the Sigourney Weaver character. It’s such a joke. He’s been sending out half-written scripts with personal letters to stars asking them to be in it.”
