Ya’ll know I have a weird thing for Russell Brand and Katy Perry. I’m really rooting for this odd-ball relationship to work out. I wasn’t sure just why it was I was so Team Raty but I think it’s just because I really like Russell Brand.

Yeah, he looks dirty and I’m not sure that his whole “I was a junkie for 10 years” story is actually true…but his small roles in movies are always such a nice surprise. Like the yummy nuget center of a candy bar. He was funny in Bedtime Stories and he’s managed to stretch his role from Forgetting Sarah Marshall into a leading role in Get Him To The Greek.

The film is a spin-off from the 2008 comedy Forgetting Sarah Marshall and sees 34-year-old Brand reprising his role as English rock star Aldous Snow who has dramatically fallen off the wagon.

His co-star is Superbad star Jonah Hill who plays college graduate Aaron Greenberg who blags his way into a job as an intern at a record company and is sent to transport Snow from England to a concert at Los Angeles’ Greek Theater
