L.A. is an ugly place kids, and if this is true, it’s worse than we thought. Sources say that Lindsay Lohan’s best gal pal (and rumored lesbian lover) Samantha Ronson is the one that planted the cocaine in Lindsay’s car and purposely left it there for the police to find the night of her DUI. In fact, the whole story goes that DJ Samantha has been tipping of the paparazzi about Lindsay for extra cash for some time now.

The rumor started as a result of those now infamous pictures of Lindsay passed out in Samantha’s car. Sources say that Lindsay thought her friend was taking her straight home to sleep it off, but Sam made an unscheduled pit stop at a gas station where there just happened to be tons of photographers waiting. Maybe she needed gas to get home? Nope, she had 3/4 of a tank, more than enough to get her BFF home safely and spare her the humilation. Nice girl this Samantha, huh?
