We aren’t sure how we feel about this story as Debbie Harry of Blondie was a role model to most of us here at HWB when we were young. But now we think she is just a creepy old lady. In a recent interview Debbie reveals that her secret at 62 years young is surgery, weird surgery.

“When I was 32 or 35, I read in Vogue magazine about an open-heart surgeon that did fresh cell replacement…I thought this was so logical. So, I did that and I was the youngest person to have ever had that done.”

What is “fresh cell replacement” you ask? Injections from the embryo of black sheep and they take them from the different organs in the sheep and make up these injections. After getting that bizarre surgery she found a doctor that was doing something a little more sane, giving people with Alzheimer’s human growth hormones. It’s a little different from the fresh cells, but the same kind of thinking. Debbie says that she doesn’t really have a problem with experimentation. Oh really?
