Christina Ricci just might break through into mainstream movies with her upcoming role in the soon to be Summer blockbuster, Speed Racer. Christina plowed through her twenties as America’s Indie Film Queen and may finally now be headed to A-list actress status.

She was fantastic in Monster, cute as a button in Penelope with Reese Witherspoon and we think she was a perfect pick for Speed Racer’s Trixie. Here’s hoping that Christina finally gets the props (and the leading lady roles) she deserves. Speed Racer hits theaters May 9th.
