This story just keeps getting curiouser and curiouser.

First Charlie Sheen tries to strangle Brooke Mueller, then Brooke goes to rehab for crack addiction. The next week child services comes to visit the Sheen/Mueller home and now Charlie has checked into rehab for “preventative measures” and the kids are now living in-rehab with Mommy!

In a joint statement to UsMagazine.com, CBS, Warner Bros. Television and Two and a Half Men creator Chuck Lorre stay they “support Charlie Sheen in his decision today to begin voluntary in-patient care at a treatment center. We wish him nothing but the best as he deals with this personal matter. Production on Two and a Half Men will be temporarily suspended.”

Sources tell us Mueller’s rehab facility allows children, and Brooke’s kids are with her right now, along with the nannies and a counselor. As we first reported, Brooke is now in a private home that offers high-end rehab services and allows patients to bring children and staff. She checked out of The Canyon in Malibu after an alleged security breach.
