The details of Zooey Deschanel and Ben Gibbard’s divorce has leaked today.

Here’s a quick summary:

Zooey has $3 million. She owes $0 on credit cards. She spends $22,500 on her mortgage, clothes, health care, holidays, etc. She also donates $1500 a month to charity.

Another celebrity marriage bites the dust. Sad. They seem like a perfect couple. I totally get why she was into the Death Cab for Cutie dude…I just don’t understand how anyone can turned on by a guy in skinny jeans.

After dating for a year, Zooey Deschanel and Death Cab for Cutie singer Ben Gibbard have tied the knot.

None of the big media outlets know anything about the wedding except that it was this weekend and took place near Washington.

No reason to post these other than I just think Zooey Deschanel is super cute and I HEART her sister’s EmilyDeschanel’s show Bones so much that I TIVO it and watch when my house is quiet and empty.

It took a minute, but the media finally got the details of Zooey Deschanel’s engagement right. In Touch magazine correctly reported earlier this week that Zooey was engaged, but incorrectly reported that it was to Hunter Burgan (bassist for AFI).

The dry voiced actress is engaged to a musican, but it’s actually Ben Gibbard, the front man for Death Cab for Cutie. Good job there, In Touch. There’s this new thing you should check into ….it’s called research.
