Verne Troyer, aka Mini-Me, was rushed to the hospital Wednesday to be treated for “flu-like symptoms”. Riiiight…everyone knows that “flu-like symptoms” is Hollywood code for drug collapse. Thirty-nine year old Verne fell ill on set of The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus (Heath Ledger’s last movie) in British Columbia.

His reps say the illness has nothing to do with his substance addiction problems and was all due to overwork and dehydration on set. Sounds like any actor with a habit better get the hell away from that movie set. Or don’t drink the water.
