I can’t say that this news is either shocking or sad to me. The Orange County Housewives are my least favorite of the franchise and Tamra Barney is my least favorite of my least favorite housewifes. On the very same day that Tamra admits on the show that she and Simon are heading for divorce, the real husband filed real divorce papers.

In the bombshell divorce papers Simon Barney wrote: “Petitioner contends that Respondent has been verbally abusive and has committed acts of disloyalty and infidelity.”

“The Real Housewives of Orange County” star moved out of their million dollar home earlier this week and into a two-bedroom apartment, a source who knows the couple told RadarOnline.com exclusively. Tamra and husband Simon Barney have been having severe problems for several years, the source told RadarOnline.com. But Tamra did not know that Simon was filing divorce papers, even after she moved out of their home.

Bad news for Tamra if she really was cheating. She won’t get a dime in the settlement and then who will pay for her Botox and tacky clothes?

Let me preface this by saying that I live in the Atlanta area, have so my entire life. I am also a huge fan of Bravo’s Real Housewives franchise..but I’ve always thought they missed the mark with the Atlanta cast.

I know, I know – catfights and wig pulling is always hilarious..but at least two of these housewife posers are so low class that I just find any entertainment value there. Living in the Atlanta area I hear about and see these faux-celebrities way more than you do and believe, they think they are something!

But as usual, karma has a way of working things out and making the universe balance again. They very two fame-whores that I’m talking about may be getting the ax from Bravo for being a huge wig-wearing pain in the ass of the network.

A report claims Bravo producers are looking to replace the feuding stars Kim Zolciak and NeNe Leakes in the third season of The Real Housewives of Atlanta.

“Things with NeNe and Kim have been intense,” a source told the The New York Daily News, “but Bravo feels the show is about the franchise as a whole and won’t let one person stop it.”

While Bravo had no comment on the reported casting shakeup, a source tells PEOPLE that “no decisions on a season 3 have been made yet.”

Everything is going crazy at Bravo. The Real Housewives of New York is replacing fan favorite Bethenny Frankel with socialite Sonja Morgan..and over at The Real Housewives of Atlanta..fiances are getting killed!

Bethenny has her own reality show in the works and will leave mid-season.

Sonja will probably make her appearance around episode five of the new season of Housewives. “It’s not pretty between Bethenny and the other cast members in the episodes that they’ve already taped.” the insider adds. “I think the show is going to explode this season!”

Meanwhile, Kandi Burruss, the newest cast member of the Atlanta franchise, is coping with the tragic death of her fiancé, Ashley “A.J.” Jewell, who appeared regularly on the show.

Atlanta police said that Jewell received a severe head injury during a fight at The Body Tap Club in the 1200 block of Marietta Boulevard in Atlanta.”It appears he was involved in an altercation in the parking lot and he received a severe blow to the head,” said Atlanta Police Lt. Keith Meadows.Meadows said Jewell was taken to Piedmont Hospital where he later died.

This is going to be crazy…crazier than NBC hiring old-ass Kathie Lee Gifford to host the fourth hour of the Today show. Kathie Lee will be on vaca next week and NBC has decided to bring the most annoying housewife from each  franchise on to sub for her.

[The housewives] will sit in for vacationing Kathie Lee Gifford to chat about news, do interviews and take part in wacky Today show segments.”

• Bethenny Frankel (New York) is on Monday,
• Danielle Staub (New Jersey) is on Tuesday,
• NeNe Leakes (Atlanta) is on Wednesday, and
• Tamra Barney (Orange County) is on Thursday.

Gotta remember not to watch on Thursday. The other days may actually turn out to be funny but I just can’t stomach those OC girls anymore.

Now it all makes sense!!! I’ve been wondering why in the hell Bravo chose Danielle Staub as one of The Real Housewives of New Jersey. I mean really..you can’t really have a show about Jersey housewives with money without the gratuitous mafia connection.

Shame on you Bravo!!!  These chicks are interesting and crazy enough with the Soprano’s tie in.

In the preview of next week’s episode Bravo revealed that Danielle’s shady past could be found in an out-of-print book called  “Cop Without A Badge”. The book is about Kevin Maher , a criminal turned informant for the New York Police Department and the FBI. Back then, Danielle apparently went by the name of Beverly Merrill. Beverly was a coke addict and a stripper and all around bad gal.

According to the book, Beverly was arrested for extortion, kidnapping and possession. She also got caught up in the kidnapping of some rich kid who owed a drug dealer a bunch of cash. (See attached mug shot which looks ALOT like our Danielle)

Eventually, Kevin left his wife and stepson for Beverly.When Kevin told Beverly he wanted a family, she told him she wasn’t the mother type. They broke up. Kevin last saw her in 1992 when she was stipping  at a club named Shakers in Carlstadt, NJ.

Didn’t Danielle say in the first epi that she used to work through Ford Models? Did Ford do grainy mugshots back in the 80s?
