There were other pictures in this set but they showed Transformer boy smoking and I don’t post pics of anyone smoking…but it was actually refreshing seeing a hot young MALE celebrity smoking and drinking diet coke to avoid food or to deal with stress.

Hey, it takes a lot of bad habits to get that flat belly-four pack he’s rockin, don’t you know? Do you even know any guys in real life that will even get near a diet coke?

He is not off scot-free. Shia will almost certainly have his license suspended because he refused to submit to a blood alcohol test. Steve Whitmore from the L.A. County Sheriff’s Dept tells us Shia’s DMV hearing is tomorrow.

Now how is he going to pick up the ladies? Maybe he can just roll with BumbleBee and let him do the driving.

Doctors have told the 22-year-old Transformers star that he is likely to lose the pinky finger on his left hand.

“Shia called producers yesterday and told them,” the source on the set of Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen in Alamogordo, N.M. says. “It’s really thrown the movie into turmoil.”

I’m filing this one under ‘Star magazine just makes things up for fun’. I don’t believe this for a minute. But if it is true, maybe those movie-dudes that make all that cool Transformers stuff can make him a bionic pinky!

Shia LaBeouf’s boss says that he was not drunk when he flipped his big old truck earlier this week. Michael Bay, director of ‘Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen‘ is trying to get some good spin going for his boy. In an interview with Access Hollywood that will air August 1^st, Bay claims that his best money-maker was not under the influence at the time of the crash.

“You’re gonna see – that’s gonna go away,” Bay said. “That’s fresh news… He was not drunk. He was drinking hours and hours before.”

Bay goes on to say that the DUI charges will soon be dropped, all will be good, people will love Shia again and he will continue to make millions.

Serendipitously, Details magazine September issue features DUI-boy Shia LeBeouf and the accompanying interview delves into the actors drinking issues. A rep for Details says they are not purposely trying to cash in on Shia’s misfortune stating that, “It’s already gone to print. Just coincidence in timing.”

In the issue that hits stands Monday, August 5^th, Shia talks about drinking with his father, his lack of control over his own drinking and the infamous Walgreens incident.

On drinking:

“It’s not something that is conducive to being a role model. … And I don’t know how to do it like a gentleman. I don’t know how to have one drink.”

On Walgreens:

“It was two hotheads. One completely in the wrong, one who wasn’t enjoying his job that night, going at it about minuscule bullshit.”

The eyewitness says, “The other guy was saying, `Maybe you should go, maybe you should get outta here,’ and he (LaBeouf) said, ‘No, I’ve gotta deal with this… It’s my problem.’”

Shia was of course later charged with misdemeanor DUI. Meanwhile, Shia’s unknown passenger has been identified as his Transformers 2 co-star Isabel Lucas.

Shia’s reps say he is doing okay but won’t be returning to work on Transformers 2 until his hand has healed completely in about a month. I’m sure that makes the big wigs at T2 happy.

Shia will be having surgery on his left hand while law enforcement officers try to figure out if he will be charge with a felony or a misdemeanor DUI. The passenger in the car with Shia and the driver of the car he hit, all sustained minor injuries too but none of them will require surgery. Karma was working overtime last night, kids.

Law enforcement sources tell us LaBeouf was involved in a car accident at about 3:00 AM at the corner of La Brea and Fountain in Hollywood. We’re told Shia made a left turn in front of another car and the two collided, causing Shia’s car to roll.

Shia was arrested on the spot and the cops say that  ‘he exhibited outward signs of intoxication’.  That’s cop-speak for ‘he was drunk as a skunk’. All parties were taken to the hospital and TMZ reports that if the victims injuries are serious, Shia will be booked on suspicion of felony DUI. If the injuries are minor, Shia will be cited and released on misdemeanor DUI. Big trouble for little Shia is coming.

“My dad lives in Montana in a tepee, and he gets cold, so he comes up to my house for the winters and stays in the garage. He’s got an air mattress set up for him; it’s very comfortable.”

Just not in the actual main house — that would be too close, says Shia. “I love him, but we have similar tastes. Living in close proximity, we get into little battles. Over the fridge, over supplies, just everyday average stuff. Toothpaste, clean towels… it becomes a little overbearing, so we keep him in the garage.”

And you thought your family was dysfunctional?

LaBeouf received a ticket February 18 in Burbank for unlawful smoking, a misdemeanor. He was supposed to appear in court at 8:30 AM, but neither he nor a lawyer showed — so a $1,000 bench warrant was issued for Shia’s arrest. Shia was allegedly smoking on the sidewalk outside a shop called Skyblupink, a gift shop, when cops cited him.

The new movie Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull is set in 1957 and pits our hero, Indy, against the Russians. The main Ruskie bad guy is actually a bad chic. Cate Blanchett plays the scary Agent Spalko and is said to be the toughest Russian in film history.

Shia was arrested on a misdemeanor count of trespassing and posted bail at 7am that morning. The above mentioned security guard is also suing Shia. No word on exactly the suit is for but we are willing to bet the fact that Shia is young, handsome, talented and rich and the security guard works the graveyard shift at a Walgreens in Chicago has something to do with it.
