The Mystery Behind Seth Rogan’s Weight Loss

Posted on: April 9, 2009 | Comments Off

I’ve heard several times lately that Seth Rogan’s new svelt body isn’t from a healthy diet or hours in the gym. Seth himself has said on several occasions that he is just “not that guy”.

Seth says that he feels like a sell-out for losing weight for his role at The Green Hornet…but insiders like Ted Casablanca are insinuating that he is not “dieting and exercising” like he tells everyone.

So what is the mystery behind our favorite stoner’s weight loss? I had to even utter the words….so I won’t….but you all know what I’m thinking, right?

Maybe he’s figured out a why to not get the munchies when you get high.

Judd Apatow & Seth Rogan Disagree About Drug-Use

Posted on: August 5, 2008 | Leave a Comment

For some reason I just assumed that Judd Apatow was a big old-movie making pot head. Wouldn’t you think the mind behind ‘The Forty Year Old Virgin”, “Knocked-Up”, and “Anchorman; The Legend of Ron Jeremy” was a friend of Bud’s?

Well he is not. In fact, Seth Rogan says he is very much anti-weed and that’s where they ran into some disagreement on how to promote their new movie “Pineapple Express”. The movie follows two marijuana users on the run from some bad guys, and since Seth is a self-proclaimed pot-head, the pair had a hard time reaching a compromise.

The actor says, “There were some internal discussions. The reality being that Judd is somewhat against marijuana use and I think it should be legal. We didn’t really want to make a strong overall message about it. We kind of wanted to leave it to the audience.”

HBO Turned Down Seth Rogan’s ‘Entourage’ Style Show

Posted on: July 16, 2008 | 1 Comment

Seth Rogan was turned down by HBO a few years ago for a show similiar to their hit Sunday night comedy, Entourage. Rogan and Knocked-Up co-star Jason Segal pitched the network a show about a pack of guys that smoked weed and played video games all day, but really wanted to act and make movies. Since Mark Wahlberg’s show has become such a huge success, Seth is still pissed off at the rejection and doesn’t understand why the powers that be at HBO picked Marky-Marks show over his. Maybe it’s because Seth didn’t come with his own Funky Bunch.

“I just remember feeling really bitter. We thought the stuff we were writing was funny… and it just seemed crazy that no one else liked it. You start to question your own sanity. Like, ‘Our HBO pilot isn’t funny, but Entourage is?’”
