Raunchy comedian Russell Brand may seem dirty and nasty on the outside, but inside he is just a big ol’ teddy bear. As Russ was heading into the London department store Harrods last Tuesday, he was approached by a homeless man selling a charity magazine to make a few bucks. After speaking with the man for a minute, Russ reached into his pockets and gave the mean $800 so he could travel to be with his family on Christmas.
Hopefully the man used the cash for travel and not drugs or booze.

“Russell was about to enter Harrods when he was approached by a Big Issue vendor. The man told Russell he wanted to go home for Christmas but couldn’t afford it. So Russell dug deep into his pocket, giving him the money to take a train to see his elderly parents in the north of England. The man was reduced to tears, telling Russell he had made his Christmas.”
